Megumi Avigail Yoshitomi, ESRP Visiting Researcher at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, was cited in the Nikkei for her lecture at the Cellular Agriculture Research Organization’s symposium (10/10/2023). She emphasized the need to consolidate information from both the administration and the industrial sector. She also acknowledged that, due to the involvement of proprietary cutting-edge technologies in cellular agriculture, there are significant barriers to public disclosure. Nevertheless, she argued for the importance of companies sharing information related to safety to facilitate deeper discussions.
