Megumi Avigail Yoshitomi, ESRP Visiting Researcher at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, gave a presentation at the Food Development Exhibition 2023 Commemorative Seminar held at Tokyo Big Sight (04/10/2023).
She introduced cellular agriculture, which produces resources by cultivating cells, and cellular food products (so-called ‘cultured meat’), which are now being marketed in Singapore and the USA in this field, as well as the potential of this field and the progress and challenges of its social implementation.
