Victor Ferguson is a JSPS Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tokyo’s Research Centre for Advanced Science and Technology. He studies issues at the intersection of international political economy, global governance, and international security. Topics he is currently researching include the implementation and enforcement of economic sanctions and economic security policies, international cooperation on economic security issues, and how the rise of economic security concerns is transforming burden-sharing dynamics in military alliances. He received his PhD from the School of Politics and International Relations at the Australian National University’s Research School of Social Sciences.
