She pointed out the fact that government and the industry are hindering each other as a reason why the development of cellular agriculture, which is also important from the perspective of food security, has not progressed in Japan. Furthermore, she also stated that Japan has potential because of its excellent cells such as “Wagyu Beef “and stressed the need for the public and private sectors to work together to establish policies and develop rules as necessary.
