On 30 August 2024, the ESRP invited Jeremy Chih-Cheng Chang, Head of the Semiconductor Policy Unit at the DSET/ Research Institute for Democracy, Society, and Emerging Technology, to conduct a workshop. Participants engaged in a lively discussion on Taiwan’s outward investment screening, the reality of public-private partnerships, and policies under the Lai administration.
