Economic Security Research Program (ESRP) at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST), the University of Tokyo is proud to team up with The Japan Foundation to host resident Visiting Fellows interested in conducting policy-oriented research on economic security issues from ASEAN countries during 2025-26.
Visiting Fellows will receive:
– Round-trip airfare to Tokyo
– Settling-in allowance of 250,000 JPY
– Departure Allowance of 50,000 JPY
– Insurance
– Monthly stipend of 400,000 JPY / month
– Dependent allowance of 10,000 JPY / month
– Enrollment fees of up to 25,000 JPY / month
Visiting Fellows will choose between 3-12 months to conduct research in Japan at the ESRP at RCAST, U Tokyo to conduct research on economic security issues.
