Akira Igata, Director of ESRP, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, spoke at a seminar organised by the US Consulate General in Okinawa (25/08/2024).
He gave a presentation on the disinformation threats (methods and frequent narratives) that countries face, as well as countermeasures and international cooperation that should be taken. Local politicians, media and experts participated in a lively discussion.
