ESRP Director Akira Igata spoke at a webinar titled ‘The Implications of Japan’s New Economic Security Law,’ hosted by the Information Technology & Innovation Foundation (ITIF). As current challenges, he cited the fact that many Japanese universities are engaged in collaborative research with Chinese companies, given China’s civil-military fusion policy.
