Akira Igata, Director of ESRP, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, engaged in a discussion with former House of Representatives member Shiho Kanno about North Korean human rights issues, and the content has been published in The Tokyo Post. During the dialogue, they consulted the database of Korea Future, a think tank based in the United Kingdom, to discuss the details of human rights violations in North Korea and policies Japan should adopt.
