The comments by Akira Igata, Director of ESRP, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, provided to the press at the “NATO-Japan Symposium 2023 : Emerging Security Challenges” were published in the Asahi Shimbun (11/18/2023).
Considering the deepening interactions and interests between Europe and Asia, I pointed out the importance of cooperation with like-minded countries in the area of economic security. Please note that this symposium was an event co-hosted by the Economic Security Research Program with the EU/NATO and the Embassy of Denmark in Japan.
