Title: Industry and rule-making trends in cellular food products
Summary of discussion: cellular agriculture is attracting attention as a solution to the possible future shortage of animal-derived food resources. Information gathering and business environment development is underway in major countries, and Japan needs to finalize the discussion as soon as possible. There is an urgent need to establish an appropriate study system and to form a social consensus. In this presentation, basic information on cellular agriculture and cellular food products and the latest trends in rule-making will be presented.
