On 23 October 2024, ESRP Project Academic Specialist Maya Sobchuk gave a talk titled “How Russia and China Collaborate in the Information Space” at ICAS, Temple University Japan.
Maya argued that an increase in troll flooding of social media and attempts to destabilize elections can be seen around the world using cognitive warfare. There are speculations about how closely Russia and China are working together in the information space. She analyzed that this is not merely an inspiration from the Kremlin playbook, but rather a coordinated effort.
