The publication “Prospects for cellular foods: Challenges in the dissemination of cellular meat and technical and social approaches to implementation”, supervised and contributed to by ESRP Director Akira Igata and RCAST Visiting Researcher Megumi Avigail Yoshitomi, has been published. Akira Igata wrote Chapter 6, Section 1: ‘International politics surrounding cellular agriculture’ and Megumi Avigail Yoshitomi wrote Chapter 5, Section 1: ‘Domestic social consensus building movements towards building a market environment for cellular food products’, pointing out domestic and international trends in cellular agriculture and its relevance to economic security.
